Buford Highway

There was a time when Atlanta was two colors -- black and white -- and one flavor -- fried. That time is past. Buford Highway is the Atlanta area's own little Ellis Island -- of commerce, that is. There's Mexican next to Vietnamese next to Peruvian next to, well, you get the idea. Locals didn't need Census 2000 to tell them the metro area was changing. All they had to do is trek down to Buford Highway and catch a whiff of the air. Those spices ain't from around here.
