The Process Theatre presents a matching pair of exotic dramas with drag queens and other outlandishly dressed characters. In Charles Busch's THEODORA, SHE-BITCH OF BYZANTIUM (opening FEB. 24), a former circus performer married to Emperor Justinian embarks on a hilariously kinky tragic trajectory. Meanwhile, in the world premiere of BABYLON (opening MARCH 4), Atlanta playwright Marki Shalloe goes behind closed doors at a New Orleans brothel where the star attraction is a transvestite named the Virgin Mary. Ace Atlanta actress Barbara Cole directs Byzantium and performs in Babylon. $12-$24. Thurs., 8 p.m.; Fri.-Sat., 8 and 11 p.m. (no 11 p.m. show Feb. 24). Through March 25. Whole World Theatre's Third Space. 1214 Spring St. 404-245-4205. www.theprocesstheatre.org.
