Nature writer and South Carolinian JOHN LANE has traveled all over the world, exploring literature and rivers and the native habitats of monkeys. After years of wandering, he decided to return to his own native habitat – Lawson’s Fork, S.C. In his new book, Circling Home, Lane explores upstate South Carolina and marvels at the area’s natural and man-made wonders. The Georgia Center for the Book brings the naturalist and poet to the Decatur Library Mon., JAN. 7, for a discussion and book signing.
