SweetWater Brewery hosts Brew Your Cask Off, a cask ale festival where one ticket lets you sample 80 different cask-created brews by 80 different amateur brewers and vote for the best, this Sat., March 10. Creative Loafing’s Food & Drink Editor Besha Rodell created XL: CL’s 40th Anniversary Ale, a British brown ale with walnut and oak, for the evening. You better vote for it. The brews will flow from 6 p.m. until last call at 9:45 p.m., and the contest winners will be announced at 9 p.m. (Josh Pate)
