Contestants work to build the highest tower of burgers at the "Burger King Stackers Stack-Off" last month at the Burger King restaurant in McDonough. Teams were given 15 minutes, 25 Double Stacker burgers, four straws and a tray and were allowed to use them in any configuration. The winning team received $1,500, 48 free Stacker burgers and a two-day, one-night stay in New York City to compete in the National Stack-Off finals. Winning-team member Gaelon Farquharson, a vegetarian, said the burgers would have been better used being sent to Ethiopia but added that "money talks." The finals were held in NYC Thurs., Sept. 14, and the winner was a team from Dallas; the Atlanta team finished third out of three teams.
