You won’t find a bigger proponent of public transit than this grassroots organization. CfPT provides resources for everyone who’s even thinking about getting there on public transit — from the Braves-game shuttle rider to the most obsessive light-rail nerd. But with its active listserv and, this year, a part-time lobbyist in the state Capitol, the group also communicates about and agitates for alternatives to the automobile.
