The Endorsement Issue

The Big Guy and Gov. Land-Grab have stomped the campaign trail into a mud pit. But there are plenty of other candidates vying for public office this year in Georgia. We interviewed many and got the phone slammed down on us by others. The results: our most comprehensive endorsement issue ever.

THE GENERAL ELECTION

When: 7 a.m.-7 p.m., Tues., Nov. 7, but there's advance voting Oct. 30-Nov. 3 at limited locations.

Where: To find your polling place, go to www.sos.state.ga.us, click on "Elections" and find the "Poll locator." For advance voting sites, go to the "Elections" site, as well.

How: You must be registered to vote in Georgia, and you must bring with you one of 17 forms of identification. A list of those IDs can be found at the "Elections" site.

About these endorsements: Ken Edelstein, Scott Henry, Max Pizarro, Mara Shalhoup and John Sugg researched and wrote the endorsements, while consulting with other staff members and multiple sources, including the candidates. If you'd like to comment, please send a letter to letters.atl@creativeloafing.com.
