Philadelphia’s Annie Sachs, aka Tickley Feathers, plays a heady mashup of junk culture and avant-garde pop via Animal Collective’s Paw Tracks label. Keel and Co. are well-schooled in the traditions, but add their own unique and contemporary twist, thus keeping it interesting. $10. 10 p.m. Zuffy’s Place. 404-343-1171. www.zuffys.com. — JKNORMA JEAN, HORSE THE BAND As Douglasville’s loudest export, Norma Jean mixes its Christian message into metal songs of such pummeling, screaming intensity, it’s nearly impossible to understand the words. That’s called crossing over.
