Come on out

"Pride 365: Live. Love. Be." is the theme of the 36th annual ATLANTA PRIDE CELEBRATION taking place JUNE 23-25. In the mood to make a statement for gender equality and female empowerment? Get vocal at the June 24 Dyke March. Or let your true colors shine at the June 25 Pride Parade, the festival staple that always promises elaborate floats and lots of spirit. Fans of the stage can catch Saturday's Theatre on the Lake, a sneak peek at several gay-themed local plays, while "American Idol" addicts can get their fix with performances from "Idol" vets Kimberley Locke and Frenchie Davis on Friday at the opening ceremony. Free. Fri., 6-11 p.m.; Sat.-Sun., 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Piedmont Park, 10th Street and Monroe Drive.
