Comedy: Don 'D.C.' Curry

Sat., Oct. 4

Whether you know comedian DON "D.C." CURRY from his role as crazy Uncle Elroy in the films Next Friday and Friday After Next, or from a stand-up act that earned him a hosting gig for BET's "Comic View" and a standing ovation at HBO's "Def Comedy Jam," you know he's funny either way. Exaggerated in his movements and expressions, clever with his intonation, and hilarious when talking about his routine nervous breakdowns, Don D.C. Curry is definitely one of the dons of urban comedy. He'll be at Uptown Comedy Corner continuing Sat., OCT. 4. Through Oct. 4. $16-$26. Wed., 8 p.m.; Thurs., 9 p.m.; Fri., 8 and 10:30 p.m.; Sat., 8 and 10 p.m., and 12:30 a.m. 800 Marietta St. www.ticketmaster.com.
