Comedy

COSTAKI ECONOMOPOULOS (right) isn’t an easy name to pronounce, but it certainly is memorable. The UGA alumnus has an innate ability to wax philosophical and invoke social consciousness all while cracking audiences up. Economopoulos has written for BET, MTV and even “The Tonight Show,” but he earned his comedic credentials by stealing the spotlight at major comedy events such as the renowned Montreal Comedy Festival. For three days in Atlanta, starting Thurs., DEC. 21, you can hear him talk about serious subjects, including terrorism, religion and gun control, in an impressively humorous manner. $10-$13.50. Thurs., 8:30 p.m.; Fri.-Sat., 8 and 10:30 p.m. Funny Farm Comedy Club, 608 Holcomb Bridge Road, Roswell. 770-817-4242. www.funnyfarmcomedyclub.com.
