Comedy: Nick DiPaolo

Sat., Sept. 13

If you like big, loud Italians, spend your Sundays watching football with New York Giants fans. But if you like big, loud, funny Italians, go see NICK DIPAOLO. The proud-to-be-politically incorrect DiPaolo's apologetic side is as absent from his comedy as his sarcastic side is ever-present. A former Emmy-nominated writer for HBO's "The Chris Rock Show" and frequently featured Comedy Central joke teller, DiPaolo is one of those comics who all comedy fans know about, but few other people do. Whether you're the former or the latter, his show is worth seeing. He'll be at the Punchline for three nights, continuing Sat., SEPT. 13. $15-$20. Thurs., 8 p.m.; Fri., 8 and 10 p.m.; Sat., 7, 9 and 11 p.m. 280 Hilderbrand Drive. 404-252-5233. www.punchline.com.
