Much of America became familiar with TY BARNETT (right) when he was a finalist on season four of NBC's "Last Comic Standing," but the funnyman from Chicago has been doing his thing for years, even winning "Up and Coming Comedian of the Year" in 2002 at the Las Vegas Comedy Festival. He's popular on late-night television as well (having appeared on Jay Leno, Jimmy Kimmel and Craig Ferguson) because of his original take on the big three: race, religion and politics. Barnett works the Funny Farm Thurs.-Sun., MAY 17-20. $15-$20. Thurs., 8:30 p.m.; Fri.-Sat., 8 and 10:30 p.m.; Sun., 8 p.m. 608 Holcomb Bridge Road, Roswell. 770-817-4242. www.funnyfarmcomedyclub.com.
