Creative Loafing's 2010 Fiction Contest Party

For CL's ninth annual Fiction Contest, nearly 150 fans of good stories, delicious food and fantastic fannies slipped into Eyedrum on Wed., Jan. 6. Apparently, good things come in threes. There were three readings of the winning stories, three judges to introduce them, and three of the lovely ladies from Blast-Off Burlesque performing numbers fit for this year's theme, "Slip." The Depeaux provided New Orleans-authentic eats, and Grounds Coffeehouse brewed up the java and sweet treats.
