Once a year, Creative Loafing reads hundreds of short stories submitted by readers and publishes the best three in this, our Fiction Contest issue. To celebrate, we're throwing a party Thurs., Jan. 10, at the Highland Inn Ballroom starting at 7 p.m. The winning authors will read their stories, Write Club will host a word battle between staffers Max Blau and Clay Duda, there will be music, a cash bar, and we'll even have some free pizza.
