It may not solve Atlanta's drought problem, but ROOM TO MOVE DANCE plans to use water for instruments in its upcoming two-part original ballet performance choreographed by Amy Gately ending Mon., JUNE 11. In Water Passion, a waterphone and water gong re-create the sounds of nature often lost amid urban living. But the group doesn't shun traditional instrumentation. It also performs with Canada's renowned Penderecki String Quartet in Little Seamstress, about cultural awakenings among Chinese children. Through June 11. $12-$15. Sat., 8 p.m.; Sun., 3 p.m.; Mon., 7:30 p.m. Chaddick Center for the Arts, 215 W. Wieuca Road. 404-847-0453. www.roomtomovedance.org.
