This Mother’s Day weekend, celebrate the finale of Atlanta Ballet’s 80th anniversary season with SHEER EXHILARATION, an eclectic reflection of the company’s history that includes such favorites as Dracula as well as edgy new works like classic ballet/hip-hop mishmash Impending Savour Assessment. Four upcoming choreographers – Kennesaw State University’s Ivan Pulinkala, Bennyroyce Royon, Latin choreographer Victor Quijada, and Matt Kent – represent the future of the company in this mixed-repertory production. Enduring Images: 80 Years of Atlanta Ballet, a free exhibit, will also be at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre with photographs and memorabilia that chronicles the ballet’s past. $15-$120.
