ATLANTA HORROR FEST invites the city to indulge in its favorite pastimes -- namely, dressing like freaks and watching bands and movies. The four-day festival, which lasts from OCT. 27-30, has underground horror film screenings at Eyedrum and more than 20 band showcases at Lenny's. Highlights include a zombie walk from Lenny's to the Oakland Cemetery; Dirty Pillows, a '70s-themed prom night and Carrie White look-a-like contest; and a huge closing party and costume contest at Lenny's. $7-$30.
