Italian dinner and an improv-comedy show to benefit the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood
Noni’s restaurant and the Village Theatre team up to benefit the Old Fourth Ward neighborhood on Friday March 21, 2014. The evening begins at Noni’s, located at 357 Edgewood Avenue, 6:30pm with a sit down family-style Italian dinner for 40 people. The menu includes Caesar salad, Noni’s famous garlic French Fries, the Patricia sandwich that boasts a healthy heaping of prosciutto, turkey, homemade mozzarella, sriracha, sweet homemade pickles, seasonal fruit preserves on pressed ciabatta and farfalle with Bolognese sauce for $15 per person.
The evening continues close by at the Village Theatre, located at 349 Decatur Street in the Pencil Factory Lofts and Shops at 8:30pm for ARMANDO where interesting people telling real stories! Each week a guest “ARMANDO” shares their life experience, which in turn fuels the improv scenes. The result is dynamic and hilarious improvised scenes you won’t see anywhere else for $10 per person.
Both Old Fourth Ward businesses and members of the Old Fourth Ward Business Association will donate $5 per person to raise funds for the neighborhood’s security initiatives. The Old Fourth Ward Business Association was established in March of 2012, as a non-profit membership based association dedicated to fostering a safe and sustainable business environment, community involvement and promoting a positive image of the Old Fourth Ward.
