Doria Roberts

When: Thu., Sept. 22, 5 p.m. 2011
Price: Free
Atlanta soul songstress Doria Roberts has been strumming up socially conscious folk rock for more than a decade. With the release of her latest album, Blackeyed Susan, Roberts pays tribute to her friend and inspiration, the late Odessa Holmes. Following two in-store performances (at Decatur CD on Sept. 20 and Carol's Daughter on Sept. 21), Roberts kicks off her Farm to Ear Tour with a CD release show at the East Atlanta Village Farmers Market, including food from Urban Cannibals (co-owned by Roberts) and other festivities.
