Presented in 35 mm as part of Emory Cinematheque’s comedy series. Leader of Freedonia Rufus T. Firefly (Groucho Marx) declares war on Sylvania because "They got guns/ We got guns/ All God's chillun got guns!" Though the politics of this anarchic comedy went right by its original audience, today the film stands as the Marx Brothers' greatest achievement and an anti-war classic. (Leo McCarey; Paramount, 1933) (1.37: 1, 68 min) Recommended Parking: Oxford Road Parking Deck or Fishburne Parking Deck.
