CAFE 101: 101's pan-fried potstickers had the table moaning after one bite. What sets these dumplings apart is their shape. A ball of flavorful ground pork is placed in the center of a super-delicate dumpling skin and loosely wrapped like a cannoli. The open-ended shape allows the diner to soak the filling in the vinegary dipping sauce for maximum enjoyment. 5412 Buford Highway. 770-458-8883. www.cafe101atlanta.com.

CHEW YOUNG ROO: The Duluth location of Super H Mart (a Korean supermarket chain) has one amazing food court. But this dumpling shop — located next to the Mozart Bakery retail stand — is the absolute best place to dine. The stall sells an assortment of Korean dumplings filled with shrimp, pork and vegetables or pork and kimchee. You can even grab a couple of orders to go in the still-warm pre-wrapped packages. 2550 Pleasant Hill Road, Duluth. 770-495-7522.

TASTY CHINA: Everybody falls back on chicken soup when feeling nasty, but this stellar Szechwan eatery's "wontons in hot oil" are guaranteed to kill whatever evil lurks in those swollen glands. Ragged pork wontons float in a fiery chicken neck broth adorned with ground Sichuan peppercorns and dried red chiles. The dish is brightened by bits of green onion and minced garlic then topped with a layer of chili oil that adds richness to the ultimately slurpable broth. 585 Franklin Road, Marietta. 770-419-9849.
