In one of the most welcome holiday traditions, Horizon Theatre brings back the thorny mistletoe of The Santaland Diaries, the theatrical version of the famed essay from humorist David Sedaris. Opening NOV. 25, the play tells the story of an unemployed New Yorker who takes a stint as a Macy's holiday elf named "Crumpet" and discovers consumerism gone amok, gay sexual tension and a fleeting glimpse of genuine Christmas spirit.
