Join us on Wednesday May 1st from 6-8pm for the opening of the exhibition, Empty, new works by Brian Giwojna. Empty addresses the personal passage of time in the modern suburb and the loss of personal history. Giwojna, originally from Long Island, utilizes the absence of the house or household imagery to expose the dark side of the suburban life. Empty speaks to the void in memory and meaning of a life in the suburbs while confronting the loss of memory caused by Alzheimer's disease.
Giwojna is currently completing his MFA at SCAD.
