Singer/guitarist Trever Keith and bassist/singer Scott Shiflett tour the U.S. this fall, performing songs from their 1999 album Ignorance is Bliss as an acoustic duo in intimate venues. Ignorance is Bliss, the band's fourth album, was a departure from their classic SoCal punk rock sound, and generated very mixed reactions from fans at that time. Now, 13 years later, the album has become something of a cult classic. Aside from a brief U.S. tour following the album's release, Face To Face has never included songs from Ignorance is Bliss in their performances. Because the emotion and tone of the music from Ignorance is Bliss are a departure from their trademark high-energy live performances, Keith had the idea to take the songs tour in an intimate acoustic setting. After Keith asked fans on the band's Facebook page about the idea, the response was overwhelming.
