Farm egg in celery cream at Miller Union

"Iconic" is the first word that comes to mind when thinking about this dish. It's comfort food on crack. A single, beautiful egg with an orange yolk is suspended in cream, infused with the earthiness of celery, and baked until the whole lot is set like custard. Sop it up with the buttery slab of grilled country bread riddled with bits of char and rife with the aroma of smoke. $9.

STILL THE ONE: Miller Union's farm egg in celery cream was featured in the 2011 edition of 100 Dishes to Eat Before You Die
