Film: Out on Film Fest

Landmark Midtown Arts Cinema proudly shows its true colors with the return of OUT ON FILM. The weeklong festival features numerous films depicting the ups and downs in the lives of gay, lesbian and transgendered individuals, such as opening-night flick The Big Gay Musical. Many of the films include a Q&A session with directors, actors and producers. This year's fest is dedicated to late Atlanta activist Allen Thornell. Through Oct. 8. $10-$75.
