The four-part documentary film surveys the landscape of gender relations throughout Georgia. No, not this Georgia – that Georgia, as in the former Soviet republic of. Director of photography Natela Grigalashvili and three other female storytellers explore the roles of women in the middle, southern, eastern and western parts of that hardscrabble nation. It's not all talking heads, though, as Federico Fellini's "8 1/2," a Japanese tam-tam and other artistic touches make appearances throughout.
