Film: Under Great White Northern Lights

Thurs., March 11

American rock outfit the White Stripes road-trip across Canada in UNDER GREAT WHITE NORTHERN LIGHTS, a film that documents Jack and Meg White's ambitious 2007 tour from one end of the red-and-white-flagged country to the other. The pair reminisces about the past decade and compares memories, with the camera capturing every eye-opener and turning corner. En route to a final destination in Nova Scotia, the duo puts on spontaneous shows in remote bowling alleys, city buses and for Indian tribal elders before finally arriving at the Savoy Theatre for their 10th anniversary. $10. 7:30 p.m. Plaza Theatre, 1049 Ponce de Leon Ave. 404-873-1939.
