Hop City Beer Tastings

Octane hosts different beers from Hop City Beer every Wednesday.

5 Seasons Cask Ale Thursdays
When: Every Thursday, 5:55 p.m. - 7:55p.m.
Where: 5 Seasons North and Westside

Each week, a different guest taps a different keg of "real cask ale."

The Fred's Second Anniversary Party
When: Sat., Nov. 5., 3 p.m.
Where: The Fred
Price: Depends how many of the special kegs you try
For its "Terrible Two," The Fred is tapping some interesting brews, including Founders CBS, Hebrew Genesis 15:15, Mikeller Black Hole Bourbon-Aged and more.

Inman Park Beer Chase 5K & Festival
When: Sat., Nov. 6, 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
Where: Elizabeth St., between North Highland Ave. and Lake Ave.
Price: $30 advance, $40 day of; $50 ticket for run and festival
This first-annual fest features a 5K run followed by a beer festival featuring more than 80 seasonal craft brews. Proceeds benefit the Inman Park Security Patrol, which employs off-duty Atlanta police officers to patrol the neighborhood.

Stone Brewing Cask Dinner
When: Thurs., Nov. 10, 8 - 10 p.m.
Where: Wild Wing Cafe, Marietta
Price: $30
Three courses of food, three different Stone brews, all for an extremely reasonable price.

Belgian Beer Bar and Cellar Anniversary Party With Adam Avery
When: Thurs., Nov. 10, 5 p.m.
Where: Brick Store Pub
Price: $65
The Brick Store celebrates with rare cellared tappings, Avery brews and new vintage bottles in their cellar.

Belgian Beer Bar and Cellar Anniversary Party With Rob Tod
When: Mon., Nov. 14, 5 p.m.
Where: Brick Store Pub
Price: $65
The Brick Store celebrates further with rare cellared tappings, Allagash brews and new vintage bottles in their cellar.

Coast to Coast Toast
When: Tues., Nov. 15, 6 p.m.
Where: The Porter Beer Bar
Price: Depends on how much beer you drink
In celebration of Vanberg & DeWulf's 30th anniversary, the Porter will be serving a flight of their beer.

2 Course 2 Beer Pairing

Sierra Nevada Beer Dinner
