Hell; All Ages
Some say that a band is made up of people that simply work together. That the members can be there just to make music and nothing else. The five members of Flattens The Forest prove these people wrong.
Three friends (Matthew Schumacher, Austin Frederick, and Zach George) got together and started to make music, as most bands begin. They found that they enjoyed creating music and wanted to start a band. The deceased band, Breezy Blue Fish Toes, was formed. They began to write original instrumental music, but craved more.
With the introduction of a new guitarist (Chris York) and a vocalist, the band began to write full scale band arrangements and got there first show at the 2009 Battle of the Bands hosted at a local Conyers venue; to win 1st place at the competition. Eventually, the past vocalist, began to drift away from the band, but that did not stop the four remaining members from writing music.
With the introduction of a new vocalist (Tricia Clark) in late 2009, the band exploded into the current band Flattens The Forest. Writing new music to fit the incredible new style of the new vocalist’s voice, the band began getting more and more shows and publically known all over Georgia.
