Fourth of July Hometown Celebration

The "oldest and largest 4th of July Celebration in South Fulton County," Salute to the Red, White and Blue Hometown Celebration is held across from the East Point MARTA station and East Point City Hall. This fun-filled event features activities for the whole family, including a professional carnival complete with carousel, Ferris wheel, rides, games and more, Watermelon Eating Contest, a select merchandise vendor market, musical performances throughout the evening, a food court including Italian ice, funnel cakes, smoked and grilled meats, fried fish, beer and tropical drinks and more, and, of course, the evening's highlight at 9:30 p.m.: South Fulton County's largest Pryo Digital Fireworks display synchronized to a musical score. This event has been rescheduled to Saturday, July 6, from 5-11 p.m. due to the weather. Fireworks will go off at 9:30 p.m.
