Sometimes it's hard to understand why Frank Ocean boasts an affiliation with a bunch of yucksters like OFWGKTA; he’s got so much more class and genuine talent than anyone else in that crew. Regardless, the young crooner, who recently outed himself as bisexual, pushes soul and R&B music to some pretty inventive places with his proper debut, Channel Orange. Over the years, he’s ghostwritten for Justin Bieber, John Legend, and the likes, but he caught the world’s attention with "Novacane" and "Swim Good" from his 2011 Nostalgia, Ultra mixtape. With such newer numbers as "Super Rich Kids" (featuring Earl Sweatshirt), "Pyramids," and "Pink Matter" (featuring Andre 3000), Ocean is at an artistic high, blending haunted and sensual atmospheres with just a touch of weird humor.
