Dance
Former Atlantans Ela Lamblin and Leah Mann bring their unique experiment in music and movement to town with the local premiere of BANGING BAMBOOZLES NOV. 23-25. The duo's Seattle-based Lelavision performance group creates music from oversized, otherworldly sculptures, played for the fullest visual effects with dynamic choreography. The show also relies on such random props as large steel spheres played from the inside and out, a 25-foot harp and an assortment of vegetables used as wind instruments. $20. Fri. and Sat. 8 p.m.; Sun. 5 p.m. 7 Stages, 1105 Euclid Ave. 404-523-7647. -- Tray Butler

Holiday events
You may end up with bruised bums and scuffed shins, but the annual HOLIDAY IN LIGHTS ice skating rink still has the power to attract those who wish to wobble on their ice skates and hold hands in the less-than-frigid Southern winter. Centennial Olympic Park's 21 acres are bedecked with holiday displays and thousands of lights. The rink opens NOV. 23-JAN. 6. $5 for 1 1/2 hours, skate rental $2. Mon.-Thurs. 4:30-10 p.m.; Fri. 4:30-11 p.m.; Sat. 10 a.m.-11 p.m.; Sun. 10 a.m.-10 p.m. Centennial Olympic Park. 404-222-7275. www.centennialpark.com.
