The performance artist and writer examines a culture that glorifies greed at the expense of spiritual bankruptcy in $CASINOAMERICA$ APRIL 27-28.. The solo piece uses fire rituals and exaggerated personae to create a one-hour performance collage of haunting images. The artist, in partnership with Alternate Roots and six Atlanta art organizations, will also participate in panel discussions, a multi-media performance lecture and workshops covering topics such as freedom of speech and minority representation in the media throughout the week.
