FRIDAY/13

Music
FLYING LUTTENBACHERS, THE LOCUST, GOOD CLEAN FUN, WAIFFLE -- The Flying Luttenbachers deliver unrelenting volcanic impact tempered only by an arcane sense of humor and tight, thoughtful musicianship. Waiffle kicks around plenty of ominous hardcore/thrash/metal/grind power. Dense, with a slightly dissonant undertow. Good Clean Fun stamp out a familiar strain of energetic posi-core put into motion by Minor Threat lo those many years ago. Also see The Locust article. Under the Couch (Foy)
