DANCE
Celebrating 10 years of integrating dancers with and without disabilities, Full Radius Dance will perform DANCING THE DREAM: 10 & COUNTING on JUNE 22-23. The program will include three world premieres, By Passion Driven (XXX), Circle and Dream a Little Dream, as well as Looking Glass: The Agony of Lewis Carroll. $8 for seniors, children and working artists; $10 for adults. PRIDE FESTIVAL
Forget driving down Peachtree Sunday morning, unless you want to dance in your skivvies or carry part of the giant rainbow flag. The ATLANTA PRIDE FESTIVAL flames through the city JUNE 22-24. The Pride march and parade (XXX) begins June 24 at 10:30 a.m. at the Civic Center MARTA station, winding its way to Piedmont Park. A commitment ceremony for couples will take place on June 22 at 7 p.m., followed by an AIDS Vigil at 8:30 p.m. The market and stage will be set up all weekend at Piedmont Park, featuring local music acts and special interest groups. MULTIMEDIA
Off-beat character sketches, social commentary and dream interpretations are set to video, music and dance in the multimedia performances of ORANGE and THE MOST UNLIKELY PEOPLE CONFESS TO THEIR DREAMS at PushPush. Both shows run in repertory from JUNE 22-JULY 1. Orange is presented by Juha, a Hawaiian-based performance company, and combines funky pop songs and video images with performance to give the feeling of a carnival freak show.
