Writers' festival
Pulitzer Prize-winning author E. Annie Proulx gets a dose of the South when she visits the Emory University SUMMER WRITERS' FESTIVAL JULY 26-27. Proulx won the award along with the National Book Award in 1994 for her novel The Shipping News, set in Newfoundland. During the festival, Proulx is scheduled to have a "spontaneous conversation" with Atlanta writer Jim Grimsley as well as teach a master class and read and sign her books.
