Though cynics gripe that Valentine’s Day is a phony “Hallmark holiday,” your Peep Show staff can’t help but appreciate any holiday capable of luring Clermont Lounge stripper/poet/beer-can-recycler Blondie onto a stage fully clothed. Blondie read her love poetry to an audience at the Earl in East Atlanta on Valentine’s night.</

On Sunday, we visited Imagine It! Children’s Museum at Centennial Olympic Park for some poetry, drumming and general childish merriment. Earlier that day, we carted up to the Country Club of the South in Alpharetta for a bridal show where vendors showed dresses, flowers, cakes and something we’ve wanted but have never been offered at a wedding: head-and-neck massages. We need to crash more weddings in Alpharetta.</
