FTP Movement presents Crew Love IX

January 15, 2012
January 14, 2011 - Originally a rap group formed by Kalonji Jama Changa, among others, in 2001, FTP evolved into the FTP Movement in 2004 and encompasses everything from feeding the homeless to police brutality watch to community youth programming across 13 U.S. cities. Last night, Pal's Lounge on Auburn Avenue filled up for a night of soulful hip-hop for the ninth iteration of the FTP Movement's Crew Love events. The goal was to raise $2000 for the Movement's next endeavor, purchasing a building off of Ralph David Abernathy Boulevard on the West End of Atlanta to expand their communality building operations. The bill for the night, hosted by Dres Tha Beatnik, included Stahhr, Binkis, Alive and Well, Arablack, Big Vision, and Queen Nef.
