Fundraiser: AIDS Walk Atlanta

More than any illness, HIV/AIDS carries a heavy social stigma often played out in the quality of treatment patients receive. Now in its 17th year, AIDS WALK ATLANTA is bringing together thousands of people Sun., OCT. 21, to raise awareness and funds for services including housing, nutrition, counseling, medical care and education. This year's theme, "Every Life Deserves Hope," emphasizes support for everyone who's infected regardless of race, income, age, gender, sexual orientation or religion.
