Golden Triangle, GG King, Knaves Grave

When: Thu., Sept. 23, 9 p.m. 2010
Price: Free
Brooklyn's Golden Triangle features about a 50 percent ATL expat constituency, channeling all of their freaky, carnivalesque energy into one spooky, arty noise-pop din. It's not dramatic enough to be called goth, but there's way more depth here than the standard garage-rock fare. The group's fiery, costumed presence adds an apocalyptic flair to the layers of noisy, primal junk culture and girl group aesthetics of their debut full-length, Double Jointer, released earlier this year via Hardly Art. GG King and Knaves Grave open.
