The first man went inside the apartment, still screaming. The officer knocked on the door of the apartment. He continued to hear yelling and screaming. The suspect opened the door and the officer told him and the other man, who was wandering through the breezeway in an intoxicated manner, to stop making all that noise.
The officer then left and waited in the breezeway. In a few seconds, he heard a stereo come on full blast and a voice yell an obscenity through the door. He knocked on the door again and as the man opened the door, the officer unplugged the stereo and told him he was under arrest.
The suspect then grabbed the stereo and threw it and began screaming more obscenities. The other man began kicking the walls and yelling.
The two men were handcuffed and arrested. Both were charged with disorderly conduct and noise ordinance violations.
