Has losing dampened your enthusiasm for the Thrashers?

ADAM & JUDY, ATLANTA
We get frustrated when they lose, but as long as there is pro hockey in Atlanta I'm never going to be disappointed. During the two decades since the Flames left, the No. 1 thing in the back of my mind was when are we going to get another team? I care whether they win or lose but it's not the end of all things. We love being here. It's a great night of entertainment and they're headed in the right direction. Besides, even if it's a blowout there's always a chance for a fight.

Yes. When we became season ticket holders, the selling point was that they were committed to winning and not being like the Falcons or the Braves, waiting 25 years to have a winning team. We called the ticket office to tell them we wanted to renegotiate our contract. We signed a four-year deal for club seats but we're going back to two because we're tired of this crap. If you want to have a happy customer, you have to have a good product and we don't have it. Their record now is worst than the first year.

It hasn't dampened mine, but I think it's dampened the players. They don't seem to play with a whole lot of enthusiasm. But my family are pretty big hockey fans, so we follow them on TV, catch them on the radio, come to the games. They got some great rookies, a great goalie -- they just don't seem to get it together on the ice. I'm real surprised how badly they've done this year. We were here when the Knights were here so we've seen hockey come a long way in Atlanta.
