All the generations have accepted this kind of picture of the Old South since Margaret Mitchell's book came out in 1936. But a lot of people today seem to be offended by it. They don't seem to know it's a work of fiction. They seem to take it as Bible truth. That makes me wonder. But all of this was pure fiction. We don't think Star Wars
is true, do we? ... People come to Atlanta still wanting to know where Tara is. But the city fathers through the years seemed to want to tear everything down and put up these glass towers. But the book is still being read. It's been published in 42 countries in 38 different languages.
