Thanksgiving

103 West hosts its second annual "Hassle-Free Holiday," featuring appetizers, roasted turkey, traditional side dishes and lots of dessert. Wine additional. Food 101 in Sandy Springs will offer Thanksgiving dinner featuring holiday favorites like leg of lamb, cured ham with Coca-Cola glaze and roasted turkey. Imperial Fez is the choice for a slightly less conventional Thanksgiving dinner. The restaurant will host a Moroccan feast beginning at 6 p.m. The four-course meal will feature exotic interpretations of traditional holiday dishes, including turkey and quail. $35 per person plus tax and tip. December events
IRIS hosts a five-course champagne dinner Mon., Dec. 6. Reception begins at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. The menu will include sashimi salmon, puree of butternut squash, braised duck ravioli, pan-seared halibut and bittersweet chocolate cake. THE SUN DIAL is partnering with the Atlanta Food Bank for a special dinner Wed., Dec. 8, beginning at 6:30 p.m. For $100, guests will enjoy a cocktail party followed by dinner prepared by the Sun Dial's executive chef Chris Hall, as well as guest chefs including Todd Immel from Oscar's, Carvel Grant Gould from Che and Gary Mennie from Canoe. PARK 75 AT THE FOUR SEASONS will offer an elegant four-course dinner Christmas Eve, 5:30-8:30 p.m. Cost is $85 for adults and $35 for children. New Year's Eve

THE RITZ-CARLTON BUCKHEAD will offer several opulent ways to bring in the New Year. The Dining Room will have two seatings: The first, between 5:30 and 6 p.m., includes a four-course prix-fixe meal for $120 per person, with an additional $60 for wine pairings. The second seating, between 9-9:30 p.m., will feature an extravagant six-course prix-fixe menu for $245 per person, $115 additional for wine pairings. Formal attire requested. The Ritz's Cafe will also have two seatings: The first, from 5:30-6 p.m., will offer a four-course prix-fixe menu for $95, $50 additional for wine pairings. The second seating, between 8:30 and 9:30 p.m., will feature a five-course prix-fixe meal for $180, including a champagne toast, and $50 additional for wine pairings. MIDCITY CUISINE plans to party with a five-course prix-fixe menu, live music provided by the Mike Kelly Jazz Trio, party favors and a champagne toast at midnight. The five-course menu will include butternut squash ravioli with amaretto cookie crumbs, beef tenderloin Rossini with truffles, foie gras and potato dauphine, with a cheese course and chocolate brioche pizza to finish. SILK RESTAURANT in Midtown will offer its standard menu before 9:30 p.m. After that, the restaurant will roll out a seven-course prix-fixe menu, with dishes such as sauteed scallops and foie gras with Fuyu persimmon sauce, smoked duck breast, tomato Thai basil soup, ginger Asian pear sorbet, steamed halibut over crab cake with spicy berry ponzu sauce, and Grand Marnier soufflé. SOTTO SOTTO in Inman Park will celebrate New Year's Italian style with a traditional Italian feast to include dishes like handmade tortellini in broth and cotechino sausage with lentils for good luck.
