Holiday: St. Patrick's Day

Tuesday, March 17

Tired of all that green beer nonsense? Fado's ST. PATRICK'S DAY CELEBRATION is the place to celebrate Ireland's absence of snakes the good, old-fashioned way. Festivities start at 7 a.m. with kegs and eggs, which is followed by an Irish dancing ceremony and Irish food, beverages, and live music until midnight. And just in case you're afraid all that won't be enough to completely kick your ass, there are several days' worth of St. Patrick-themed events beforehand, including St. Practice Day March 16, which is exactly what you think it is. $10-$15. 273 Buckhead Ave. 404-841-0066. www.fadoirishpub.com. Check out our St. Patrick's Day roundup.
