The Atlanta-produced Scream Tour originated in 2001, banding together several hot R&B acts for a summer tour. Five years later, the packaged all-star revue is selling out arenas around the country and drawing scores of excitable teenage girls despite little mainstream publicity. This year's SCREAM TOUR 5 (subtitled the "Ruff & Ready, Young & Sexy" tour) reaches Atlanta closer to Christmastime on Sun., DEC. 17. Ne-Yo, an R&B singer/songwriter with aching love songs such as "So Sick" and a flurry of Michael Jackson-like dance moves, headlines the bill alongside teen idol Omarion (Fat Albert, You Got Served). Yung Joc (right), Pretty Ricky, Mario, Jibbs, Sammie and One Chance open. $29.75-$47.75. 5 p.m. Philips Arena, 1 Philips Drive. 404-878-3000. www.philipsarena.com.
