Art

Most artists will tell you that they suffer for their art. But the artists whose work is on display at Our Gallery have a particularly strong claim. Located beside the homeless shelter near Piedmont and North avenues, the space houses works created by local homeless men and women. The show currently on display is Movement to Redeem the Soul of Atlanta, featuring paintings that deal with the city's treatment of homeless people. Free. 9 a.m.-9 p.m. Through Aug. 15. Our Gallery, 477 Peachtree St. 404-876-5429.
