Hoof it (for a good cause)

Between its confidential HIV testing services, education and prevention programs, and support services for those living with HIV/AIDS, AID Atlanta does an immeasurable amount of good for our city. And Oct. 16, everyone in the city can give back to the organization by taking part in AIDS WALK ATLANTA. Beginning and ending at Piedmont Park, the 5K walkathon raises about $1 million that directly benefits metro Atlanta organizations that provide education and services to those living with HIV and AIDS. Registration is open on the day of the event beginning at noon with no minimum donation required. For info, call 404-876-9255 or visit walk.aidatlanta.org.
